One home. One interface.
Bringing the house together
My home had acquired a separate app for almost everything. SavageHome brings lights, the front door, cameras, Wi-Fi, my car, energy use, deliveries, TV and audio into a native Android app and a responsive web dashboard.
I can control individual lights or rooms, check the IONIQ 5’s latest reported status, manage Wi-Fi schedules and coordinate TVs, receivers, volume and streaming shortcuts. Deliveries and electricity figures have their own views.
Built around everyday use
“Hey Jarvis” uses on-device wake-word detection on Android. Common Norwegian commands are interpreted locally; an optional OpenAI API connection can plan supported actions from freer requests, such as starting a TV app and adjusting lights in several rooms.
The shared private backend connects Home Assistant with selected local and cloud APIs. Tailscale keeps access to the home private, and integration credentials stay on the server. SavageHome is used at home while development continues, including its connection with Savage TV.
