John M. Burns began as an apprentice at Link Studios in 1954. His work ranged from newspaper adventures such as The Seekers and Danielle to illustrated adaptations and, later, 2000 AD.
On Modesty Blaise he drew Yellowstone Booty and Green Cobra, then began Eve and Adam. Patrick Wright continued that story. The shared credit on its archive record preserves the change of artist within one serial.
